Michigan’s Online Course Catalog was developed in the fall of 2013 as a result of Public Act 60 of 2013. This legislation allows students in grades 5 through 12 who are enrolled in a Michigan public local district or public school academy (not including full-time cyber schools) to take up to two online courses per academic term with consent from their parent or guardian. Consent of the parent or legal guardian is not required if the student is at least age 18 or is an emancipated minor.
Michigan’s Online Course Catalog allows visitors to search through online course offerings without needing to register for an account.
